Best Contest Placings – The first time I competed with the International Natural Bodybuilding Federation (INBF) I attained my Pro card giving me the ability to compete with the World Natural Bodybuilding Federation (WNBF) by winning the heavyweight and Overall 5/5/2001 in Nancy Andrews Northeast Classic. I then jumped in feet first for my first Professional debut at the Pro Universe with the WNBF 6/6/2001 and placed 3rd heavyweight. I have since competed with the WNBF in the following Pro shows:
- 06/2001 – Pro Ms. Universe (NY) – 3rd place
- 06/2002 – Pro Ms. Universe (NY) – 2nd place
- 11/2002 – Pro Natural World’s (NY) – 9th place
- 05/2004 - Pro Natural American (Austin, TX) – 3rd place
- 06/2004 – Pro Ms. Universe (Barbados) – 2nd place
I feel so blessed to be competing with some of natural bodybuilding's TOP women.

Role Models in Bodybuilding/Fitness - I got the bug for bodybuilding in 1994. I changed my diet in 1995 and then read a bodybuilding book by Anja Langer, to whom I have a very similar look and physic. The next year I did my first show. Since then, I've met some very wonderful folks who have helped me along the way. The people I admire the most are those who challenge themselves daily, are aggressive in their pursuit of a goal, give hope to those in need of a boost, are approachable, freely giving of their time and finally those who never quit.

Bodybuilders/Fitness Competitors who physiques you most admire - ALL of them! Each competitor is unique in their own way and it continues to amaze me.

Bodybuilders/Fitness Competitors whose personalities you most admire - Nancy Andrews, Dori Frame and Katie Holmes who are down to earth, put their heart and soul into competing and truly love the sport of bodybuilding.

Highlight(s) of Career - Winning my Pro card with the WNBF and competing in the Pro Universe in 2001.

Biggest Disappointment(s) of Career - Competing in a show when I was not 100% and disappointing not only myself but the folks around me. After that, I have given and taken my own advice, “If you are not 100% about competing in a competition, DO NOT COMPETE!” You will only disappoint yourself.

Best Bodypart – Back & Abs are my best, however I believe symmetry is likely my best friend. Legs are really starting to impress me. That is a bonus!

Worst Bodypart - Tri's and Bi's (so I think)

Favorite Exercise – Just being active. If I’m not, I feel like a slug.

Least Favorite Exercise – I’m not real keen on cardiovascular activity so it could be considered a least favorite, however if you met me you wouldn’t think so. I do love to sweat and I am active all the time. Running/biking or the stair master seem to keep me motivated enough not to avoid cardio altogether.

Traits you admire most in others - Being REAL, being YOURSELF and being TRUE to what you believe - no matter what.

Traits you admire most in yourself – I try to be a positive influence on those around me. I continue to be very approachable and try to build up others so that they feel better about themselves. I love to see a person’s face change when someone lifts them up.

Most-Prized Possessions - Knowing that I am loved by the Lord Jesus and having a wonderful, loving family and network of friends.

What would you be doing if you weren't a Bodybuilder? - Dedicating more of my time to volunteer work at my church and possibly missionary work. I'd also be catching a lot more fish than my husband and sister-in-law at Raystown Lake!

Long Term Bodybuilding Ambitions – I continue to improve upon myself in my conditioning. I have a lofty goal to place in the top 5 at World’s. I say this is lofty because I know the competition I’m up against and they ARE PHENOMENAL! My ultimate goal however is to attain a title as a professional bodybuilder by winning a show. THAT I do plan on attaining someday! I have always been active and will continue to do so, until the Lord takes me, whether that is in bodybuilding or another avenue of exercise.

What you like most about Bodybuilding? - The self-discipline, dedication and determination that it instills in you.

What you dislike most about Bodybuilding? - The perception that revolves around the sport because of steroid and hormone usage.

What advice would you give other bodybuilders? - Be a positive influence on those around you. You are being watched all the time and your actions and words dictate how everyone perceives you.

A little more about you...
- I love to enjoy life on a day to day basis. I try to keep things in perspective and realize that the time I spend in the gym is not the most important in life. I have family and friends that need my time more than spending too many hours in the gym. Life will pass by too quickly and you will then realize that you haven't done much to really enjoy life to the fullest.
- I enjoy spending time with my nieces and nephews.
- Camping gets me away from it al,l to get out on the lake and catch a few big ones.
- Just being outside lifts my spirits so I like to spend time planting flowers, tending to the yard or going out and running or hiking with my husband.
- I love life. Jesus has given me this love to share with others. I plan to continue giving of myself as Jesus has given for me. Walking in his shoes is a pretty big endeavor. I may take a few missteps, however he always picks me up. I plan on following him for the rest of my days.
